The window boxes are up!!!

John and I finished building the window boxes 2 weeks ago, and we finally have them up! My fingers are crossed that the flowers get real big and pretty!

Vegas was a blast! We were prepared for it to be way hotter in Vegas than here in Atlanta, but we were wrong! We were actually able to escape from the smoldering 94 degree weather! We were able to spend a lot of time with Freddie, Angela, Molly, and baby Tommy. Molly has gotten so big and it just so stinkin' cute!!! John and I bought her a couple surprises that she modeled in the pictures. (sunglasses, bracelet, Daddy's Main Squeeze shirt and matching skirt, jelly's, swim suit, and head band) She put them on immediately! Sooo cute! Baby Tommy is so tiny!! He is the best baby ever and super cute! We can't wait to see them again at Christmas!

While we were in Vegas, we went to see the Hoover Dam. It was really pretty! Lakes in Alabama and Georgia definitely aren't blue like you can see in the pictures!!!

John did a little gambling, but my bad luck rubbed off on him! He was up by $250, but we got a little risky and broke even. Either way we have tons of fun!

Latest Project!!

My latest project is building window boxes for the front windows on my home. I absolutely love to plant flowers, and I can not wait for the boxes to be finished so that I can put my green thumb to work!

Latest Book

I just finished reading Heart of the Matter and LOVED it!!! Such a great book that I read it in 2 days! I would definitely recommend this book to any Emily Giffin fans!!

It's almost SUMMER time!!

John and I have several trips planned this summer, starting with this weekend! We are going to Gulf Shores to hang out with lots of college friends. My skin is almost translucent and is dying for a little vitamin d! After our trip to Gulf Shores, we are heading out West to visit Freddie, Angela, Molly, and the newest Carney...little baby Freddie IV. Vegas here we come!!

Home Decor Ideas

John and I are currently trying to decorate our new home and I am having some trouble with picking out window treatments. We have beautiful exposed beam ceiling. Any thoughts??
